SEND English teacher Location: SwindonStart date: September 2026Pay: £150 to £240 per dayAre you an English teacher who wants to help young people rebuild their confidence and reconnect with education?Do you have experience supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, or would you like to develop your experience within an Alternative Provision?TeacherActive is working with a specialist Alternative Provision in Swindon to recruit a SEND English teacher for a full-time, long-term role starting in September 2026.The school provides a nurturing and therapeutic environment for pupils who have experienced barriers to mainstream education. Strong relationships, wellbeing, and personalised learning are central to its approach, helping pupils make progress both academically and personally.As the SEND English teacher, you will take responsibility for planning, preparation, and assessment while delivering engaging English lessons to secondary-aged pupils with SEMH needs.
