Joining an established English department, you will teach Key Stages 3 and 4, maintaining continuity during a colleagues absence. You will deliver engaging lessons aligned with the departments curriculum, assess progress and build pupils confidence in English language and literature. There is room to bring your own subject expertise and teaching style while working within established routines. The initial booking is for at least four weeks, with a possible extension. This role suits an experienced English Teacher who can settle in quickly, build positive relationships and keep learning moving. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Secondary English teaching experience and secure knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
