English Teacher

Qualified English Teacher (26 Hours per Week) | Short-Term to Permanent Opportunity

Location: Bournemouth, Dorset

An established specialist education provider is seeking a Qualified English Teacher to join their dedicated team on a 12-week temporary-to-permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and passionate English Teacher who enjoys making a positive impact in a supportive educational environment.

The Role

• Deliver engaging English lessons to students.
• Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with the curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.
• Contribute to students'' academic and personal development.

Working Pattern

26 hours per week

• Monday: 8 hours
• Tuesday: 8 hours
• Wednesday: 8 hours
• Thursday: 2 hours

(No Friday working required.)

Contract Details

• Start Date: 1st September 2026
• End Date: 25th March 2027
• 12-week temporary contract with the opportunity to become permanent
• Pay: -39.85 per hour (inclusive of 5.6 weeks'' holiday entitlement)

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching English.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
