Teaching English to KS3 -KS4 (KS5 if able)

This role is to start from after Eastar or September start

The school are seeking a fully qualified English teacher with experience within a secondary School setting.

A large Ofsted rated Good secondary school located in the Berkhamstead area with a very friendly feel and excellent facilities.andnbsp;

The role:

With this role you will be working as a full time English Teacher delivering lessons across KS3 / KS4 (KS5 if able). You will hold responsibilities for the class preparations and plans where you will be expected to use your own creativity and experience to attract and attain the studentandrsquo;s interest. You will then be responsible for marking work in a timely manner and assessing students progress.

Requirements for the position:

• QTS/ NQT/ PGCE/ QTLS/ Overseas Trained Teacher to UK equivilent
• A genuine commitment to raising attainment levels
• Energetic and positive attitude
• Be educated to degree level
• Current DBS registered on the update system or willing to apply to obtain one
