Pay: £168–£260 per day

Supply Desk are working closely with a welcoming secondary school in Southampton who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced English Teacher or an ECT looking for a rewarding role within a supportive secondary school environment.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring English lessons across the secondary age range, helping students develop their confidence, creativity and communication skills.

The successful candidate will:

• Teach English across KS3 and KS4

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons

• Inspire students to develop a genuine love of English

• Have high expectations for learning and behaviour

• Differentiate effectively to meet a range of abilities

• Build positive relationships with students

• Monitor and support student progress

• Work collaboratively with the wider English department

We''re looking for a teacher who is:

• Passionate about English and education

• Confident and engaging in the classroom

• Able to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Committed to achieving strong outcomes for students

• An effective communicator and team player

• Confident with classroom management

• QTS qualified or working towards QTS
