English Teacher andndash; Milton Keynes Start Date: September 2025
Supply Desk is currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic English Teacher for a well-regarded secondary school in the Milton Keynes area. This is a full-time position starting in September 2025.
The Role:
A passionate and engaging educator who can inspire students to achieve academic success
Teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 to 5, with a strong focus on KS5
Full involvement in lesson planning, delivery, and assessment
Adhering to the schoolandrsquo;s behaviour policies and safeguarding procedures
Opportunities for career progression may be available for the right candidate
Candidate Requirements:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school environment
Confident in delivering engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5
Current valid DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
Able to provide two years of employment references
Positive, proactive, and passionate about fostering a love for English in students
