We are seeking a motivated and dynamic educator to join our team in Aylesbury. In this role, you will play a vital part in fostering a love of literature and language, while equipping students with the skills and confidence needed for future academic success.
About the Role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic English lessons aligned with the curriculum, fostering a genuine enthusiasm for reading, writing, and language
- Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes creativity, critical thinking, and active student engagement
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely, constructive feedback to support individual growth and achievement
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs and abilities of all learners
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and share effective resources, ensuring a cohesive and enriching learning experience
- Engage with parents and carers to support studentsandrsquo; academic progress and personal development
The ideal candidate will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and/or Key Stage 4 is highly desirable
- In-depth knowledge of the English curriculum with the ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
- A proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach to teaching and learning
