About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Salisbury. This full-time position is available to start immediately and will run until December 2025, with the possibility of continuing through to July 2026.
Youandrsquo;ll be teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4 within a supportive and collaborative department that values creativity, teamwork, and high-quality teaching. The role would suit a passionate teacher who enjoys inspiring young people and helping them to develop a love for language and literature.
What Youandrsquo;ll Be Doing
Teaching English to students across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that challenge and motivate learners
Assessing and tracking student progress to ensure strong outcomes
Working collaboratively with a dedicated English department to share ideas and resources
Contributing to the wider life of the school, including enrichment and extracurricular opportunities

What Weandrsquo;re Looking For
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Recent experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for English literature and language
