About the Role

• Teach GCSE English and Functional Skills to students aged 11+.
• Work with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including social, emotional, and learning difficulties.
• Deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with a skilled team of SEN professionals to support student progress.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching English at GCSE level and Functional Skills.
• Previous experience in an SEN setting is highly desirable.
• Strong classroom management and ability to adapt teaching strategies.
• A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.
