Are you a passionate English Teacher with a talent for effective behaviour management£ Supply Desk is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced English Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive secondary school in Chesham!
About the Role:
- Teach dynamic and impactful English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Apply effective behaviour management techniques to create a focused and respectful learning environment
- Adapt teaching methods to support a wide range of learning styles and abilities
- Inspire students to engage actively in lessons and develop a passion for reading and writing
- Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback to aid academic development
The ideal candidate will:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Demonstrated experience teaching English at the secondary school level
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
- Skilled at engaging and motivating students from varied backgrounds
- A genuine enthusiasm for English language and literature
