As an English teacher based in Chichester, Iandrsquo;m pleased to share a fantastic opportunity for fellow educators looking to make a real impact in the classroom. A well-regarded secondary school in Chichester is seeking a passionate and committed English Teacher to join their team from September 2025. The role begins as a long-term placement through to December, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

Whether you''re an Early Career Teacher or a seasoned professional, this role offers a supportive environment where creativity and collaboration are genuinely valued. The school is also open to applications from unqualified teachers with relevant experience in secondary English.

What Youandrsquo;ll Be Doing:




  • Deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4


  • Foster a love of literature, reading, and language


  • Assess and mark studentsandrsquo; work, offering constructive feedback


  • Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment activities


  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic achievement


  • Get involved in school lifeandmdash;parentsandrsquo; evenings, trips, and clubs
