About the Role:
- Design and deliver engaging, high-quality English lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Monitor student progress through meaningful assessment and constructive feedback
- Create a supportive, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Inspire a passion for literature, reading, and effective written and verbal communication
- Actively participate in the broader school community, including extracurricular programs and events
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching and learning continuously
The ideal candidate will:
- Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- In-depth knowledge of English Literature and Language
- Skilled in delivering dynamic and inclusive lessons to students of varying abilities
- Strong classroom management and effective organisational abilities
- Reflective, adaptable, and dedicated to continuous professional development and high-quality teaching
