Key Responsibilities
Deliver well-planned and engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 teaching available depending on experience)
Inspire creativity, critical thinking, and a love for reading and writing
Contribute to the design and delivery of an inclusive, forward-thinking English curriculum
Use assessment tools effectively to track student progress and adapt your teaching accordingly
Create a classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported
Take part in extracurricular activities, such as reading clubs, creative writing workshops, or school productions
Collaborate with a strong English department to share ideas and raise achievement
What We''re Looking For
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it
A degree in English Language, English Literature, or a closely related field
Strong subject knowledge and a confident, engaging teaching style
