Salary: : andpound;29,344 andndash; andpound;44,919 (depending on experience)

About the Role:
An ambitious and inclusive secondary school in Aylesbury is looking for a passionate English Teacher to join their team in January 2026. You will teach English across KS3 and KS4, helping pupils to develop strong literacy skills, critical thinking, and a love of reading. The role also offers opportunities to contribute to GCSE preparation and whole-school literacy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons at KS3 and KS4
• Support pupils in preparing for GCSEs through structured teaching and assessment
• Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment, such as drama or reading clubs
• Promote high standards of literacy across the school

Requirements:

• QTS with English specialism
• Experience teaching English in secondary schools
• Excellent subject knowledge and a creative approach to teaching
• Commitment to raising attainment for all pupils
