Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and teach dynamic English Language and Literature lessons that meet a variety of learning needs.
• Empower Students: Support pupils in building their communication, analytical, and academic skills.
• Innovative Teaching: Incorporate technology, interactive activities, and multimedia resources to enhance learning experiences.
• Track Progress: Conduct timely assessments, provide tailored feedback, and offer support to ensure student development.
• Promote Inclusion: Assist students requiring extra help, fostering a welcoming and supportive classroom atmosphere.
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside colleagues to enrich the curriculum and participate in whole-school initiatives.

Who Weandrsquo;re Seeking:

• Qualified Professionals: Hold QTS and a relevant degree in English, Education, or a related field. Early Career Teachers and passionate unqualified educators with strong subject knowledge are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience: Prior secondary school teaching experience, especially in both English Literature and Language, is preferred.
• Effective Communicator: Able to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Culturally Sensitive: Comfortable teaching in diverse school settings and adapting lessons to suit all learners.
• Organised andamp; Disciplined: Capable of managing classroom behaviour and creating a productive learning environment.
• Curriculum Expertise: Well-versed in the English curriculum at GCSE and/or A-Level.
