About the Role:
- Design and deliver dynamic lessons centered on reading, writing, grammar, and speaking skills, integrating both classic and modern literature.
- Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages students to share their ideas and opinions while strengthening their analytical and communication skills.
- Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and tailor teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve the English curriculum and actively participate in broader school initiatives.
The ideal candidate will:
- A degree in English, English Literature, or a closely related discipline (QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification is preferred).
- Experience in teaching English or related subjects, gained through previous teaching positions or student teaching placements.
- A genuine passion for literature and a dedication to fostering studentsandrsquo; unique voices and perspectives.
- Excellent organizational abilities and strong motivational skills to engage and inspire students throughout their learning journey.
