English Teacher - Secondary School - Chester 150- 200 per day (dependent on experience)Simply Education is currently recruiting a passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to work in a range of welcoming and supportive secondary schools in Chester. We have opportunities available for daily supply, short-term cover, and long-term placements.This role would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs who are confident delivering engaging English Language and Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4.Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculumDifferentiate learning to support students of all abilitiesPrepare students effectively for GCSE examinationsMark and assess work in line with school policies (for long-term roles)Maintain excellent classroom behaviour and a positive learning environmentContribute to departmental planning and wider school life where requiredThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:QTS, QTLS or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualificationRecent experience teaching at secondary levelStrong subject knowledge and curriculum understandingExcellent classroom and behaviour management skillsA proactive and flexible approachAn enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)What Simply Education Offers:Competitive daily rates of 150- 200 (dependent on experience)Flexible working options to suit your availabilityA dedicated local consultantAccess to CPD and career progression opportunitiesReferral ..... full job details .....
