English Teacher – Rotherham

About the Role

PK Education are working with a secondary school in Rotherham who are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs to join a supportive and well-established department.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and delivering high-quality English lessons. Supporting students in developing reading, writing, and analytical skills. Assessing and tracking progress, providing effective feedback. Maintaining strong classroom management. Contributing to the wider English department.

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Strong subject knowledge in English. Ability to engage and motivate students. Strong classroom management and organisational skills. A proactive and reflective approach to teaching. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
