We''re seeking a passionate and committed English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Rotherham from January 2026 through to the end of the academic year. This role is to cover a maternity leave and offers the chance to make a real impact in a supportive school environment.

The role:

• Deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Support students in developing confidence in both written and spoken English.

• Prepare learners for key assessments and exams, inspiring them to achieve their best.

• Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom culture where every student can thrive.

What we''re looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent overseas qualification.

• A teacher with strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management, and a genuine passion for English.

• Someone who can bring creativity and energy into lessons, encouraging students to enjoy and succeed in the subject.
