Mana Education is recruiting an English Teacher for a full-time placement at a secondary school in Rushden. Starting after October half term, the role runs until the Christmas break, with a possible extension.

The role

You will teach English as part of the school''s timetable, helping pupils develop their understanding of language and literature. Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured English lessons.
Adapting teaching to support different abilities and learning needs.
Marking work, assessing progress and providing constructive feedback.
Maintaining positive classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Working with departmental colleagues to support continuity of learning.
Following the school''s safeguarding procedures.

The timetable, year groups and full responsibilities will be discussed before you accept the placement.

Who we''re looking for

We welcome qualified teachers, ECTs and applicants with relevant experience teaching English in UK secondary schools. Suitability will depend on the school''s requirements.

You will bring:

Strong English subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching.
Effective classroom management and clear communication.
The ability to engage pupils and adapt lessons to their needs.
A reliable, professional approach and commitment to pupil progress.
Availability to work full-time from after October half term until Christmas.
