KS3 English Teacher - Supportive School in Salford - Long-Term Opportunity

We''re currently working with a friendly and well-established secondary school in Salford that is looking to welcome a KS3 English Teacher to their department on a long-term basis.

This school prides itself on creating a calm and supportive learning environment. The English department is known internally for being collaborative and well organised, with shared resources and a strong focus on developing reading and writing skills in the early secondary years.

This position will be mainly teaching KS3.

The role:

• Teaching English across KS3 only
• Delivering engaging lessons using the department''s existing schemes of work
• Supporting pupils in developing literacy, comprehension and creative writing skills
• Working closely with a supportive and experienced department

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold QTS or have strong experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
• Be confident managing mixed ability classrooms
• Enjoy helping younger secondary students build strong foundations in English
