Role: Full Time, Long Term (Until July 2025, with the possibility of extension)

The Role:

andbull; Plan and deliver engaging and challenging English lessons for KS3 and KS4 students in line andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;with the national curriculum.

andbull; Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and encouraged to thrive.

andbull; Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a well-ordered classroom.

andbull; Assess student progress and provide detailed feedback to help them reach their full potential.

andbull; Collaborate with the English department to share ideas and ensure consistent high standards across the curriculum.

andbull; Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.

andbull; Participate in extracurricular activities and school events, contributing to the overall student experience.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

andbull; Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

andbull; Proven experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 level.

andbull; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

andbull; A passion for inspiring and motivating young people to reach their full potential.

andbull; Strong organizational skills to plan and deliver effective lessons.

andbull; Up-to-date knowledge of current teaching methods and trends in education.

andbull; A commitment to continuous professional development.

andbull; A DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one).
