English Teacher

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated English Teachers to join our supply agency and work across a range of secondary schools in Liverpool.

As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English lessons, supporting students'' academic progress, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the school''s curriculum.
• Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, with GCSE experience desirable.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different abilities and learning styles.
• Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
• Assess and monitor student progress and provide appropriate feedback.
• Work collaboratively with other teachers and school staff.
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.
• Support students in developing their literacy, communication and analytical skills.
• Maintain high expectations of student behaviour, achievement and engagement.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• A passion for teaching and supporting students to achieve their potential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
