The postholder will contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and the wider life of the College. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, well-differentiated lessons in English Language and Literature across KS3, GCSE, and A-Level Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations in line with the relevant exam board specifications (e.g. AQA, Edexcel, OCR, Eduqas) Set and mark work regularly, providing timely and constructive feedback to support student progress Track and report on student attainment and progress, contributing to department and whole-college data reviews Foster a love of reading and language through classroom practice and, where possible, extracurricular activities (e.g. book club, debating, school magazine) Contribute to the development of departmental schemes of work and resources Undertake pastoral responsibilities as required, which may include form tutor duties Uphold the College''s safeguarding policies and procedures a...
