Location: Cardiff
Start Date: 13th April (After Easter)
Contract: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:15am - 3:00pm)
Duration: Until the end of the academic year (July), with potential to become permanent
Pay: -172.98+ per day (dependent on experience)

We are working with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Cardiff seeking a committed English Teacher to join their team from 13th April. This is a full-time position running until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with the national curriculum
• Maintain strong behaviour management and create a positive learning environment
• Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
• Contribute positively to the wider school community

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Two professional references
