English Teacher Location: Bury, Greater ManchesterStart Date: ImmediateDuration: Until Christmas, with potential to extend into 2027Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:10pmPay: 160 - 225 per day, depending on experienceWe are currently looking for an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join a secondary school in Bury starting immediately and continuing until Christmas, with the potential for the role to extend into 2027 for the right candidate.This is a full-time teaching position, Monday to Friday, working with pupils across KS3 and KS4.The RoleTeaching English across KS3 and KS4.Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons.Supporting pupils to make strong progress and achieve their potential.Maintaining positive classroom management and high expectations.Working collaboratively with the English department and wider school team.Full-time hours of 8:30am - 3:10pm, Monday to Friday.Initial placement until Christmas, with the possibility of a longer-term extension into 2027.The Ideal CandidateExperience teaching English at KS3 and KS4.Ideally holds QTS, although experienced English teachers without QTS may also be considered.Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.A genuine passion for English and supporting young people.Reliable, professional and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.Available to commit to the full-time role.RequirementsTwo professional references covering recent relevant employment.Enhanced DBS on the Update ..... full job details .....
