English Teacher – GCSE & A Level

Educo Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced English Teacher to join a school in Haringey from November through to December.

The successful candidate will have strong experience teaching English at both GCSE and A Level and will be confident delivering engaging, well-structured lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5.

The ideal candidate will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – essential
• Proven experience teaching English at GCSE and A Level – essential
• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and examination requirements
• Experience preparing students for GCSE and A Level examinations
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students of different abilities
• A professional, reliable and adaptable approach
• Experience working within a secondary school setting

The role:

• Teach English across KS4 and KS5
• Deliver high-quality lessons and support student progress
• Prepare students for GCSE and A Level examinations
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement
• Work collaboratively with the wider English department
• Support students in achieving their academic potential

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced English Teacher looking for a short-term role in Haringey from November.
