Passionate English Teacher Wanted in Hounslow! Creative Writing Secondary School Location: Hounslow Role: English Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3-4, with a focus on developing creative writing skills.
• Inspire students to explore their creative potential through various forms of writing and develop a love for language.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the English curriculum, with an emphasis on creative writing.
• Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in English, particularly in creative writing.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages creative expression, experimentation, and confidence in writing.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in English Language and Literature, Creative Writing, or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching English at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply), with a demonstrable interest or experience in creative writing.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for language and creative expression.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire creative writing in students.
• A commitment to fostering a lifelong love of reading, writing, and creative communication within a supportive setting.
