Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English Teacher lessons for English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 (A-level).
- Foster strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and a deep appreciation for diverse texts and literary forms.
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE and A-level English examinations, with a strong emphasis on creative writing, confident expression, and textual analysis.
- Assess and monitor student progress in English, providing clear and constructive feedback to support their understanding and attainment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in English.
- Proven experience teaching English Teacher lessons effectively at all secondary key stages, with a track record of strong student outcomes.
- A deep and current understanding of the English curriculum and a commitment to innovative, engaging teaching methods.
- Excellent communication skills, effective classroom management, and a genuine ability to inspire literacy and critical thought.
