Your Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive English lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5.

• Encourage students to read deeply, write with purpose, and speak with confidence.

• Prepare learners for success in GCSEs and A-Levels, supporting both academic and personal growth.

• Contribute to the Catholic life of the school through form tutoring, enrichment, or pastoral initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS/QTLS or an equivalent teaching qualification.

• Have experience teaching English at KS3–KS5, or be eager to develop their A-Level teaching practice.

• Share and support the Catholic ethos of the school, whether Catholic or from another Christian background.

• Be an inspiring communicator, a team player, and committed to every pupil’s success and wellbeing.
