English Teacher - Alternative Provision - Blackpool

Key Details:
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Daily rate: Negotiable on experience

Contract: Long Term

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified and committed English Teacher to join a reputable Alternative Provision setting in Blackpool. This role offers the chance to make a significant and positive impact on the education and wellbeing of young people who require specialised support outside of mainstream schooling.

Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging English lessons tailored to the needs of learners facing social, emotional, and behavioural challenges. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support students'' academic progress and personal development.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Demonstrable experience working within Alternative Provision, Pupil Referral Units, or similar settings is highly desirable
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills
  • Ability to plan and deliver differentiated, creative lessons to meet diverse learning needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable learners
