English Teacher – Maternity Cover (September Start)

�� Daily Rate: £188.11 – £259.72 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

ANZUK is working with a brilliant Secondary school in East Sussex who are  seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher for a maternity cover position, starting in September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving English department within a supportive and ambitious school community. You’ll be delivering engaging and inspiring lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them build strong literacy skills and a love for literature.

The Role:

• Teach English across KS3 and KS4
• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons
• Engage students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
• Collaborate with a dynamic and experienced team

Qualifications for the Role:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A passion for English literature and language
• A commitment to inclusive education and student progress
