English Teacher

About the Role

• Teach English across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 if applicable).

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

• Assess, track, and support pupil progress, ensuring every student is able to fulfil their potential.

• Contribute to curriculum development and the continuous improvement of teaching and learning within the English department.

• Play an active role in wider school life, including enrichment and extracurricular activities.

About You

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for English literature and language.

• Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage pupils of all abilities.

• Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.

• A reflective practitioner who is committed to their own professional development.
