      <description>Location: Burton-on-trent | Salary: 150.00-150.00 Annual | Type: Temporary | Bright Star Talent is recruiting an English Teacher for a long term supply role at a secondary school in Burton upon Trent. We are looking for an English Teacher with experience teaching English Language and Literature across KS3, KS4 and KS5, including supporting pupils with GCSE and A level exam preparation. Essential requirements: You must hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification, and an enhanced DBS processed within the last 12 months. The role:   Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to secondary pupils.   Support pupils in developing their understanding of English Language and Literature.   Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.   Adapt lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning needs.   Maintain positive classroom behaviour and build strong relationships with pupils.   Work with the English department to provide continuity throughout the placement.   We are looking for:   QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.   An enhanced DBS processed within the last 12 months.
