Are you an English graduate with a passion for words, but not quite ready for the final full stop in your education journey£ Weandrsquo;re on the hunt for dynamic, enthusiastic graduates like you to help schools across Cardiff as Cover Supervisors and Teaching Assistants. Youandrsquo;ll be swapping essays for engaging lessons, plot twists for classroom fun, and taking on the role of a real-life hero to students!

Whether youandrsquo;re fresh out of university or looking for a career thatandrsquo;ll keep you on your toes, this role is perfect if you want to make a positive impact on young minds. Your talent for communication will be key as you help keep the classroom running smoothly, even on those andlsquo;coverandrsquo; days!

Your mission (should you choose to accept it):

• Supervising and managing classrooms in the absence of teachers (think substitute teacherandmdash;but cooler!).
• Supporting students in lessons, helping them unlock their potential (think more Sherlock, less Shakespeare).
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities, preparing materials, and keeping things running like clockwork.
• Encouraging a love of learning in a fun and positive way.

Ideal candidates will have:

• A degree in English (or a love of the subject thatandrsquo;s impossible to hide).
• Experience working with children or young people (even if it was helping your younger siblings with their homework!).
• An Enhanced DBS (because we know youandrsquo;re trustworthyandmdash;but letandrsquo;s make it official!).
• EWC registration (bonus points if you already have this, but if not, weandrsquo;ll help you get it sorted!).
