Role: English GCSE Lecturer Location: West Yorkshire Type: Temporary - Full-Time Rate: £30 - £35 per hour Eden Brown Education are recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic English GCSE Lecturer for a Further Education College in West Yorkshire This is a full time temporary role to start asap for ongoing cover. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate English specialist to support learners in achieving their GCSE English qualifications and help them develop the literacy and communication skills needed for further study and employment. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver engaging and effective GCSE English lessons to post-16 learners. - Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with awarding body requirements. - Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback and support. - Create an inclusive and positive learning environment that promotes achievement. - Maintain accurate learner records and contribute to quality assurance processes. - Work collaboratively with curriculum teams to support student success and retention. The Successful Candidate Will Have: - A degree or recognised qualification in English or a related subject. - A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent). - Experience teaching GCSE English, ideally within a Further Education or post-16 setting. - Strong classroom management and learner engagement skills. - A commitment to supporting learners of varying abilities to achieve their full ..... full job details .....
