In this role, you will deliver City and Guilds qualifications from Entry Level 1 to Level 2. Teaching small, focused groups of up to 12 young learners, you will help them develop essential literacy and numeracy skills, build confidence, and gain the qualifications they need to unlock employment opportunities and build a brighter future. What You Will Be DoingEngaging Delivery: Plan and deliver inclusive Functional Skills lessons, making English and Maths practical, accessible, and relevant to real-world success.Individualised Learning: Conduct initial assessments using diagnostic tools (such as BKSB) to map out tailored Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) for each learner.Targeted Support: Adapt your teaching methods to support a wide range of educational backgrounds, individual abilities, and additional learning needs.Exam Preparation: Monitor progress closely, keeping young learners motivated and thoroughly prepared for their assessments and examinations.Collaborative Working: Work alongside youth justice staff, support practitioners, and employability teams to ensure a safe, ..... full job details .....
