Supply Desk are working closely with a popular secondary school in Maidstone seeking an experienced and enthusiastic English and Drama Teacher for a long-term, full-time position starting in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key member of a dedicated faculty in a school that values high-quality teaching and the arts.

The Role andndash; English andamp; Drama Teacher

• Deliver dynamic and inspiring English and Drama lessons across KS3andndash;KS5
• Plan and lead engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that cater to a range of student needs and abilities
• Take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, assessment, pastoral care, and parental communication
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages creativity, confidence, and achievement
• Participate actively in extracurricular activities and school events, particularly within the performing arts

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Have proven experience teaching English and Drama across all Key Stages, with at least one subject taught to KS5
• Be a motivated, creative, and resilient educator who is passionate about unlocking student potential
• Have excellent classroom management skills and a confident presence
• Be ready to hit the ground running and quickly become an integral part of the school community
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to obtain one
