About the Role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a versatile English and Maths Tutor to provide targeted academic support to pupils who have fallen behind with their learning.

You will deliver engaging one-to-one sessions focused on strengthening core skills, addressing gaps in knowledge and helping learners work towards achievable educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored English and Maths tuition
Reinforce literacy, numeracy, comprehension and problem-solving skills
Develop resources suited to individual learning levels
Monitor progress and adapt lessons as required
Encourage motivation, confidence and positive engagement with education

Experience, Training and Qualifications:
QTS, PGCE or equivalent relevant qualification desirable
Confident teaching English and Maths at the appropriate level
Previous teaching or tutoring experience
Experience supporting pupils with learning gaps or disrupted education
Strong communication, planning and classroom-management skills

Essential Requirements:
Right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain the required clearance
Two professional references
