Engineering Technician

The Opportunity Wolviston Management Services are pleased to be supporting our client in the recruitment of an experienced Engineering Technician to join their established Engineering and Maintenance team in Middlesbrough. Operating within a diverse heavy industrial and logistics environment, our client has a long-established presence in the Teesside region and operates a wide range of complex plant, equipment and infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, hands-on engineering professional to join a varied and fast-paced operation, supporting the reliability, safety and performance of critical plant and equipment across the site. We are keen to hear from candidates from a variety of engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, plant, marine and heavy industrial maintenance backgrounds. The Role Working as part of the Engineering and Maintenance team, you will support the inspection, maintenance, repair and improvement of a diverse range of industrial equipment and site assets. Key responsibilities will include: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance activities Responding to breakdowns and completing reactive repairs Fault finding and diagnosing mechanical and/or electrical issues Conducting equipment inspections, servicing and routine maintenance Supporting engineering projects, modifications and equipment upgrades Identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance Ensuring all work is completed safely and ..... full job details .....
