Engineering Technician

Engineering TechnicianWe are currently recruiting for an Engineering Technician to join a team supporting a highly automated warehouse. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will be responsible for responding to equipment faults, carrying out planned preventative maintenance and helping to keep the site''s automated systems operating safely and efficiently.The role would suit an engineer or technician with experience in machinery, maintenance, electrical engineering or automation, who enjoys fault finding and working in a fast-paced environment.The RoleAs an Engineering Technician, you will:Respond promptly to reactive faults and breakdowns across the automated warehouse.Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and equipment servicing.Diagnose, investigate and rectify mechanical, electrical and automation faults.Escalate unresolved or recurring issues to the relevant engineering team or external support.Monitor equipment performance and minimise downtime and disruption.Work closely with site colleagues and customer engineering teams to resolve technical issues.Carry out repairs in line with manufacturer recommendations and industry standards.Complete technical cleaning and maintenance of automated areas and equipment.Identify recurring faults and suggest improvements to equipment reliability and performance.Maintain accurate records and follow relevant engineering procedures.Support continuous improvement and help maintain high automation standards.Follow all ..... full job details .....
