Engineering Technician

Location: North Wales- Contract: 6 months Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, fully on site Pay Rate: 21- 23 per hour IR35: Inside IR35 Security Clearance: BPSS The Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Engineering Technician to join an established engineering environment on a 6-month contract. This is a hands-on, practical role suited to an experienced technician with a background in electrical engineering, avionics systems, cabling or a similar engineering discipline. You will support ongoing engineering activities and work alongside experienced technicians, helping to deliver day-to-day technical tasks within a workshop environment. Key Responsibilities Carry out practical engineering and technical activities. Support experienced technicians with ongoing tasks and projects. Undertake electrical, wiring and cabling-related work. Work with engineering and avionics systems where required. Follow technical instructions, processes and procedures. Maintain high standards of quality and health and safety. Follow COSHH procedures when handling chemicals. Use appropriate PPE and equipment. Work effectively as part of an engineering team. Maintain a safe and organised workshop environment. About You The ideal candidate will have: Previous hands-on engineering experience. A background in electrical engineering, electrical technician work, avionics systems or cabling.
