Job Title: Engineering Technical Sales SupportShift Pattern: 08:30 am – 17:30 pm, Monday to FridayLocation: Oakham, RutlandOur client, a fast-growing specialist company based in Oakham, is seeking an Engineering Technical Sales Support professional who demonstrates enthusiasm, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize workloads to ensure smooth business operations.

The Role:

Develop and target new business prospects.

Expand business with dormant and existing accounts.

Prepare detailed technical cost estimates and build competitive, customer-specific proposals.

Create service, parts, and new product quotes, maintaining consistent follow-up communication with customers.

Identify current and future customer service requirements.

Utilize CRM to record activities, ensuring contact details are accurate, new information is added, and call/visit logs are maintained.

Research and analyze market trends, including parts pricing and competitor offerings.

Liaise with customers and internal departments to ensure timely service delivery.

Provide general and technical administration and support.

Offer technical expertise and application support throughout the sales lifecycle.

Attend client meetings, industry events, and conferences, with occasional travel.

Our Ideal Candidate:

Experience in a technical sales role.

Qualifications in Engineering are advantageous.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Research and analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies.

Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
