Engineering Team Leader

Questech Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Engineering Team Leader to join a well-established and growing business based in Gainsborough. This is a hands-on leadership role where you''ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the engineering function, ensuring equipment reliability, driving continuous improvement, and leading a skilled maintenance team within a fast-paced environment. The Salary 51,358 per year The Role Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will lead the engineering team to maximise equipment availability, minimise downtime, and support operational excellence across the site. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate and develop the engineering team to achieve high performance. Plan, prioritise and coordinate maintenance activities across the site. Ensure planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules are completed effectively. Respond to breakdowns, providing technical support and driving root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. Promote a proactive maintenance culture focused on continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental procedures. Manage engineering resources and contractors where required. Monitor engineering KPIs and identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
