Engineering Team Leader

Location: Boston, LincolnshireSalary: Up to £55,000Shift: 4 on 4 off Days and NightsWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Engineering Team Leader to join a well-established and successful manufacturing business based in the Boston area.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer, Senior Engineer or Engineering Team Leader who is looking to take responsibility for a team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.The successful Engineering Team Leader will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the engineering department, coordinating engineering activities and ensuring machinery and equipment remain reliable and available for production.Responsibilities of the Engineering Team Leader: Lead and support a team of Maintenance Engineers during the shift.Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities.Provide hands-on engineering support during breakdowns.Prioritise engineering workloads based on production requirements.Support fault finding and continuous improvement activities.Ensure PPM schedules are completed effectively.Promote high standards of Health and Safety across the engineering department.Work closely with production and other departments to minimise downtime.Support the development and performance of engineers within the team.
