Engineering Team Leader

About The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Team Leader to join our team. The Engineering Team Leader will provide primary leadership to the Engineers, Site facilities and Machine Technician. You will be involved in managing and prioritising the focus of the team on the agreed business priorities to ensure the best possible results are achieved, in order to meet the business and site performance requirements. This is all whilst maintaining Health and Safety and Food Safety Standards in order to provide a world class manufacturing operation fit for the future. Your key responsibilities will include: • Accountable for the management and leadership of the machine technician team and be the first point of contact for all engineering and machine technician issues. Ensure breakdowns are dealt with promptly and conclusively, ensuring a process is in place to prevent reoccurrences • In conjunction with the Engineering Manager, generate, monitor, measure and report on agreed KPIs for engineering and machine technician teams • Accountability for the management of the machine technician standards to IPL internal procedures (BRC / Food safety requirements) on site • Ensure that all planned maintenance, insurance inspections and all activities are effectively planned in, accurately reviewed for closure and ..... full job details .....
