Owing to continued business success and significant worldwide orders, a Market leading and very well-established Industrial manufacturing company is seeking to add an Engineering Team Leader to step their business forward.
Manufacturing and processing a diverse range of products from their site in Liverpool they supply into a huge array of high-profile clients and enjoy a strong worldwide market presence. This opportunity will suit a strong ''hands on'' Engineer who has experience with Leading and Supervising others.
Role Description
* Involvement in ''hands on'' Maintenance Engineering activities on high speed manufacturing process machinery.
* Planned and Preventative Maintenance Engineering - both Mechanically and Electrically.
* Allocation and Delegation of work across the Day Maintenance Engineering Team.
* Assisting in the continuous improvement of equipment, helping to reduce downtime.
* Managing a team of 7-8 Engineers.
* Day to Day motivation of Maintenance Engineering staff.
* Ensuring that work is carried out in a fashion which adheres to H&S.
* Working with and reporting into the Engineering Manager.
Skills & Qualifications
* Strong Hands on Maintenance Engineering Experience within an Industrial Manufacturing environment.
* Experience of Supervising or Leading a team.
* Electrical / Mechanical Engineering Qualifications - Level 3+ Qualified / Ideally Qualified to HNC / HND Level.
* Industrial Manufacturing experience - Any high speed manufacturing environment.
* Proactive and pragmatic approach, which helps to maintain a culture of trust and teamwork.
