Engineering Team Leader

to join a well-established, forward-thinking manufacturing group!With no two days ever the same, this role offers the chance to lead engineering teams across multiple high-volume production lines, providing genuine long-term progression and career development within a respected and innovative organisation in the food industry.Role and Responsibilities

Lead a team of 4 shift engineers across 5 production areas.70% hands-on / 30% leadership (PPM planning, workload allocation, standards, contractor control).Hands-on work with advanced automation, packaging machinery, robotics, mixers, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics.Oversee engineering suppliers, issue permits, manage handovers, audits, and holiday planning.Drive safety, quality, and process standards across the team.Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Multi-skilled engineer - ideally electrically biased.Strong background in food, FMCG, or other high-volume fast-paced manufacturing.Confident leader who can train, coach, and hold team members accountable.Excellent communicator, able to allocate tasks effectively and make quick decisions.Experience stepping up into leadership on shift will be considered.Package and Benefits
