Overview

This is a great opportunity for an Engineering Team Lead or Engineering Supervisor to move into a growing and successful company in the food manufacturing industry.The role involves managing the day-to-day work for an engineering team, as well as medium- and longer-term goals and performance. It combines hands-on engineering work with leadership responsibilities to provide a varied and busy role.Responsibilities

Managing day-to-day maintenance schedules and plans for a team of engineers.Hands-on maintenance across proactive and reactive activities.Working on engineering projects (e.g. commissioning, installations, relocations).Identifying and implementing improvements to processes and machine output.Adhering to site health and safety rules and applicable legislation.Requirements

Time-served / recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subjectExperience working as a senior engineer or in a more senior role such as Engineering Supervisor / Engineering Team LeaderIdeally, prior experience in a multi-skilled role across mechanical and electrical engineeringAbility to work at a fast pace, ideally in a manufacturing environmentAdditional information

Location: North West and Scotland. Schedule: Monday - Friday Day Shift.Seniority level
