Engineering Teacher - ReadingLocation: Reading, RG1Start Date: 2 November 2026End Date: 18th December 2026Salary: Competitive daily rate - dependent on experienceContract: TemporaryHours: Full-time, Monday-Friday Empowering Learning is seeking an Engineering Teacher for an Engineering specialist school in Reading, starting on 2nd November 2026 until 18th December 2026.This is a full-time opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher to deliver engaging Engineering lessons and support students in developing their technical knowledge and practical skills. Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver engaging Engineering lessons.Support students in developing their engineering knowledge and practical skills.Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.Monitor student progress and provide appropriate feedback.Follow school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour management procedures. Requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications and experience.Experience teaching Engineering in a secondary or further education setting.Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.A commitment to supporting student progress and achievement.Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
